Is this the ultimate 550 Spyder replica?
The 993 3,6L engine upgraded to 388 HP is moving only 660 kg. If there is such a thing as too much power, then this is it! ![]() http://www.carclassic.com/html/PORSCHEBERG.htm ![]() ![]() ![]()

I'm sure the car would be lot of fun with the big engine, but if you look at the car, the proportions are all wrong. The car is way too long, and the fenders and rear quarters look off. I'd rather have a real-looking replica with a 150 HP engine than this one.

wow, it is so fast the tires and doors blew off.
why do they call the real spyders beck spyders in the listing. the second car listed, the 'james dean' model is sweet. there was a tv show on lil' basterd that had any eire twist. anyone who bought or used parts from jd car (the transaxle in particular) , died or had some mysterious fate. thats a dream machine except for the insurance company writing the coverage.

Speaking as someone who owns a 165hp, 1200lb 550 reproduction, that 3.6 car is INSANE. My car still scares me; I cannot imagine driving that beast.

So they want $138k for a fiberglass replica? Hot engine or not, that seems pretty steep for a kit car.
What does "CHASPY93SR130" mean? |

Death Wish...
I imagine you would have a really hard time getting traction with that car. |

That is ridiculous. Kind of like putting a 351 mercruiser on a canoe.

While we're at it, let's strap a jet engine on the back on a skateboard and see what happens

Ahhh?, that's not a car?
That's a motor with a steering wheel.

This thing must understeer pretty badly. Should have put the 3.6 in a 911 and left the steriods out of this kit car.

Too big to fail
|
I saw a car just like this at the PartsHeaven swap meet last year. When he was leaving, he stomped on it, and the car slid all over the place. Pedestrians were running for cover while he tried to get the car under control. Looks like it would be a handful to drive with any level of aggressiveness.

I would put slicks on the rear and ride wheelies all day long.

I like it. Would much rather have too much power than not enough.
