993 exhaust on 911 conversion

I am back after quite some time out!
I have been enjoying my 76 with 993 engine and TPC supercharger for years, now.
For almost 6 year I lived in Europe so no problem with noise at the track, but now I am back to the NY area and Limerock is my closest and favorite track. Except for noise regulation!!!
So I have decided to tackle an old project, installing the full 993 setup on my 911
I already bought the parts many years ago, including those needed for relocation of oil tank
My main issue now is how to fit those massive mufflers under the rear wheel well of a 911
I do have a wide body kit on my car but still the top part of the fender is the original 911SC which seem not to give enough space for the mufflers
I recall swing this done in the past but could find the posts.
Anyone could guide me in the right direction?

I am currently running 993 headers with Timins crab muffler. I love it, but Limerock doesn't 😡!
Thank you

I just installed the Timins crab, it sounds great. I'm surprised it's too loud though.

Yeas. Unfortunately it is for Limerock standard. Anything a bit more than stock will fail

Lime Rockk is tuff, I barely squeak by w/ my 993, no cat and w/ 993turbo mufflers, w/o exhaust tip turndowns I still get black flagged occasionally, w/ the turndowns it's been fine, also had to tape up the motorsound airbox

The side mufflers do fit in 930 rear fenders

here are some pics of a factory 964 3.8RS which uses the 993 setup, though w/ a different cat setup

on my 993 I use bypass pipes instead of the cat

Hi Bill
I hope,you are doing great

Thank you for the pictures. Those.will help

My problem seems to be on the top part of the fender. I wonder if the 930 fenders are also wider on the top part. My car is originally an SC with turbo Flares, but where I have the fitment issue is on the top part ( above the line of the bumper which the original sheet metal or the SC. Although from your pictures it seems that the mufflers hang quite low.
I will try to figure it out based on the photos you posted
Thanks again
