15 & 16 inch tires

hi ya. i know theres tons of tires threads. but to of my porsches will need tires shortly. my 85 911 has 15 fuchs. i think there are 7 and 9 inches. cant really seem to find a good tire for them. i also have a 90 944 s2 with d90 wheels that are 7 and 8 inches. i always put 225/50/16 and 245/45/16 on them. i know from factory they were 205/55 and 225/50. cant seem to find a good set of them either. bridgestone used to make s02 in that size. any help would be great

I got pirelli cinturato CN36N from Lucas classic tire for the 15" wheels on my 86 carrera. 185/70 front and 215/60 rear. They're great.

15s on an SC or Carrera are either 6 & 7 or 7 & 8

tires for 6 & 7 would be either 185/70 & 215/60 or 195/65 & 215/60
tires for 7 & 8 would be 205/50 & 225/50 or 205/50 & 225/45

for 7 & 8 x16 tires would be 205/55 & 225/50 or 205/50 & 225/45

There are multiple great tire choices in the above sizes just depends in which aspect of their use you want to optimize.

If you like Bridgestone and want to optimize grip RE-71RS is a great tire

I recently replaced my old Dunlop Direzzas DZ102s 205/55-15s with Vredestein Sport Plus tires in the same size...running 7s all around on my 72 T; so far, so good.
