1972 911T Seat Belt Warning Buzzer Question
I have a 1972 911T that I am trying to get back into original condition. I have gotten the seat belt warning system working (shielding on the wires under the seats were disintegrating and shorted out). The seatbelt warning light is now going on and off as designed.
Here is my question, Does the 72 911 have a warning buzzer for the seatbelt? The shop repair manuals show it having a Buzzer, but I have also heard that the 72 doesn't have a buzzer. I also can't find a part number for a seatbelt buzzer which makes me think that there isn't a buzzer. If it does have a Buzzer, where is it located, behind the glove box? I don't want to take everything apart just to find that it originally never had a buzzer. Thanks, Lee |

The USA only Buzzer item 53 as shown on factory drawing SL39 is just for indicating “key in the ignition”.
It is mounted up behind the glove box.
