Can anyone tell me whats disconnected here?

I'm a new owner, opened up the rear fuse area today to see if it was a fuse stopping the rear wiper from running and found these relays and this wire thats not connected to anything. Is this for the rear wiper possibly? These relays don't appear in the fuse list in this box in the bentley manual? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

I think we're going to need a picture that's a little bit more of a close-up

i`d say get rid of all of this extra wiring..show us the trace of it and we will help you..it looks like it does to the main harness ,on pic to the left i see blue connector-also to the right of the pick i see someone went into the yellow wire in the harness.....so strip it and let see it

It will only create a problem for you in the future

So you dont think any wires coming off of that double relay is used for anything in the vehicle? Its a bosch relay, not sure if the parts numbers mean anything, im guessing they use those throughout the vehicle.

Heres some more photos, I tried following the wires that look to be still connected but they disappear from sight behind the fuel filter

Looks like your car is an Euro model - what year?
All of the wiring in that plastic flexible tube is "suspect" - in that the factory did not use that product in the original wiring harness.

Edit - you posted about 6 or 8 new pictures before I typed my reply. My comment was on the picture of the rear left engine compartment picture.
Wire nuts (the orange wire nut) are also not stock...

The disconnected red wire on the chain cover is cold start injector Plug it to the thermal sensor.
The yellow runs to the 7th injector.
Note, with the key on the fuel pump is not supposed to be running

Likely a bunch of pollution control crap added when imported and federalized to mimic the Lambda system on US cars.

Nothing that looks custom. Everything else works on the vehicle except the rear wiper.

Anytime you see home electrical connectors used in an automotive application you know it is suspect.

Not to sound stupid but is that what the yellow wire is attached to? Still learning, tried googling it but no other examples of that wire came up? Appreciate the guidance.

Just a heads up, the fuse panel has live wiring... even when off.

Thermotime switch , yellow goes on bottom the red to the top. Don’t know why it’s disconnected. If disconnected, the CSV doesn’t fire I believe but as someone else said , maybe it has a custom setup.
