correct wiring for targa dome light

Can someone (Timmy?) confirm the correct wiring for the targa done light

If I had one in my hand I would meter it out for you.
3 positions.
One will not conduct power, Through the lamp.
2nd will only go from power to ground wire,
3rd will go from power to door switch wire.

Yes, that's exactly the behavior as I expect with regards to the 3 positions of the switch, on off, doored

but are the arrows correct since the one constant is power it makes sense to be the left sided tab to the bulb while the 2 right sides provide the on and doored ground?

I’m not 100% sure, but I think you’ve got the grounds reversed.

I just put one of these in and I wish I could remember.

You should get continuity between the constant ground lug, the frame and the buttons on the ends.
