83 fuse noob - Radio? Oil Cooler? Broken plug?
Hey,
I recently purchased an 83 911SC coupe. Its in pretty solid condition but has a few things to be resolved. (3) questions... - Am I missing my entire oil cooler fuse? - is the #4 (radio) fuse blown? - In the engine bay what is this broken orange plug? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The number 4 fuse is just spun around. Twist it and you'll see if it's blown.

1) Never heard of an oil cooler fuse! The added in ATO fuse could be for a aftermarket oil cooler fan added on.
2) #4 fuse from the rear looks to be turned around backwards. Turn 180 to check. 3) That is the connector for the O2 sensor. A common problem. If the wires are intact, you can fix with some epoxy or replace the unit.

Ha! I turned the #4 around and it was not blown, which is strange because the radio and some of the cabin lights don’t turn on at all.
I should have checked myself, the inside of my lid (which I just found) says relay fuel pump I Thanks about the O2 Sensor! |
