Honestly I have rake and a tiny splitter....Things get extremely loose/squirrelly at 90. I need to increase downforce.......... or slow down on the country roads.

Not an expert but here's an early iteration

As you can see the splitter and front bumper are one part with a quick mounting scheme.

The brake duct receivers are a structural component. They locate the front in X and Y.

The Z is provided by spring loaded screws just ahead of the front wheel, one each side.

Aston,
Looks great. What do you have for aero on the tail? BTW, did you buy that oil cooler at f’ngenourmousoilcoolers.com? AZ must be hotter than I thought!

Thanks

For a while I was fighting corner exit/power on oversteer.

So I added an APR wing which helped a great deal.

I tried everything from 0 - 15 degrees and settled on 5.

BTW bigeffingcoolers.com

That’s how a forum works, buddy.
You get lots of information, opinions, knowledge, solutions, insights and tips.
You do not always get what you want to hear in the first reply.
As threads get longer, they contain more information for everybody, not just for the OP.
His third reply was helpful, so that’s nice.
I am sure a lot of other guys would not have bothered anymore, after your reaction to his first reply.
If you get the front more planted, keep us updated.

I drive an 86 3.2 with some mods and weight reductions.
Front spoiler never comes off, I go back and forth with the rear whale tail.
It gets lighter in the front at about 100mph, feels less planted if I go faster.
Full tank of fuel helps, empty tank makes it worse, very noticeable difference.
Adding the whale tail also is very noticeable, keeps the rear planted and helps with overall stability.

My splitter is bigger and attaches directly to the chassis:
