Decoding Alternator Light

After looking at the alternator light topic in a recent thread I decided to look up an article I wrote some time (a long time) ago about that subject for the BMW (motorcycle) Owner's News magazine. I still have the original file, but it is in a version of Quark Xpress that the new versions no longer support, and their existing document converter will not work with 64-bit Mac. So here is a JPEG of the article:



An amusing thing about this is that as I recall the information came from someone else's article in an old Panorama, or perhaps even from "Up-Fixin'!" So now it has come full circle.
