These cars are extremely easy to change pads on. It can be done during a pit stop during a race.

Depends on how you use your 911. For street, Mintex will do. For performance street, Porterfield R4S.

It is super easy to change the pads. Be sure to inspect the rotors carefully. If they have a large lip or groves you may need new rotors. Most often pads alone are fine.

On a scale of 1 to 10 it is a 1.5 at most. About like an oil change in difficulty.

found out about needing to buy new “glue on censors” with new pads. How do they glue on? Is this going to be more involved than first thought?

brake fluid

dont forget to keep an eye on the brake fluid level when pushing the pistons back in the calipers, or you could have a nasty mess.

If you haven' changed the fluid in a couple of years, this might be a good time to do it.

I have been using Mintexes on my 1973 for a long time. Quiet, minimal dusting, good stopping power, adequate for my level of Autocross and HPDE events.

I do mine every year, takes about an hour and a liter of fluid with my motive bleeder.
