SmartRacing '03 catalog just came in - sweet!
This is one sharp looking catalog. I have to say I am intimidated by the amazing array of goodies for the hi-zoot Pcar.
It shows a $2.00 price tag. Seems a good price to pay, plus it has a nice alignment sheet on which you can record all your values. A nice checklist plus some tech tips. Nice job SmartRacing! John

Yep. Read it cover to cover already. Some beautiful pieces, with some spendy prices, but plenty of valuable info as well. 935 adjustable front A Arms are gorgeous, and only $1,700!
Better value than the Fabcar wing [no mounting, just the wing] for $1,400.

I received mine too. There should be a law about distributing such porscheography to addicts like myself! Those anto-roll bars are such a nice piece of work I would love to pick up a couple to use as towel racks in the bath. My wife thinks otherwise. BTW, when did Jerry Woods become a partner in Smart Racing?

I bought a dual master cylinder (page 29) from Smart Racing and Craig was very helpful. It was a real work of art, but I ended up going down a different route with an assembly that was designed for the pre-power braked cars and selling the Fabcar piece. Craig was very clear about the mods that needed to be made, but I really didn't have a handle on it until I got the parts and started to put them together in the car.
I guess you could say that Craig even made me feel good about buying a part that I ultimately chose not to use. It sounds funny, but I'll buy stuff there again.

I've got just one Smart Racing product on my car - the rear sway bar.
Guess what everyone comments on when they see the car on a lift?

I think Jerry was one of the founders. Smart Racing is located in Jerry's building. You should see this place - I thought Pelican was small a few years ago. It's literally a 20'x20' room with two people and lots of expensive racing parts inside.

Got mine too, jdub.
I like the section of charts where you can pick out the suspension parts to suit various street and racing setups. I have the Smart Racing solid motor mounts; good quality product!

Craig was very helpful with me in putting BB2 together.
When I called him to get his opinion on some of Tyson's ideas for a front suspension, he listened, and even introduced me to Dave Klym at Fabcar, who ended up doing some of the mods we wanted. Craig did this even though it meant not selling me the ERP front end, or his own front end, which he had just finished the final protoptype for. When I told him that I wanted to test out these new ideas, he was enthusiastic and helpful -- even though it meant less business for him.
