Smile New car delivery

After a long long wait I took delivery of my new car today sent all the way from the other side of the pond (your side).
I am now the proud owner of Noah's "Silver Shark" now called "the Ark"

John Glynn and I drove down to the south coast on Friday evening to pick up the car from the docks today.
We got drunk on Stella talked Porsche and John donutted his way around the car park before we set off back home.

There is plenty planned for next year to keep the wheels turning with track days ,several impactbumpers.com meets and Classic Le Mans on the calendar.

A big thank you to Noah for being ,a genuine, honest and straight up guy to deal with ,he made buying a car overseas stress and trouble free. O and I also should mention he can certainly wield a spanner

What an adventure ! Heres a quick picture more will follow

Your import regulations must be much easier than ours. We could never do that here in California. The cost of getting DOT, and Smog certification would just kill that deal.

Congrats!

Cool pics. But will she adjust to driving on the 'wrong' side of the road..? Can be very confusing for an old girl.

We have to pay customs & excise 17.5% on the purchase price and shipping cost so its not cheap.
But the weak $ really makes buying a car stateside very appealing and rust free examples are becoming rare over here.
The transoprt test shouldnt be to hard ,well at least I hope not ,at least you guys arent paying $2.20 for a litre of fuel

Way to go Andy! Well done mate for having faith in my oddball logic. As a result, you now own the second prettiest IB in the UK LOL

Proud to be a part of bringing this wicked car to a very deserving new home, here's to the next one we manage to almost-repatriate!
