This goes on how then? Release fork.

I gotta admit that I just dont get it. The release fork fits into the groove on the T/O bearing right? When you mate the tranny to the engine how does the fork "slip" over the front of the T/O bearing and into its groove? I mean you cannot come in from the side with the fork so what am I missing?

As you mate the transmission to the engine you rotate the fork into position making sure it is in the grove. Re-check after it is mated

There's a notch in the top of the trans housing that helps you. Once I get the engine onto the studs, I use a flashlight and a long screwdriver to guide the shift fork into the groove properly. Hard to do if you have CIS on... THere's also some room underneath to do that.

I guess what you guys are saying is it will make sense when I put it together. This is a pull type clutch right?
