MFI stack rebuild
I’m the second owner of a 71 911E and ever since I can remember the valves at the bottom of the MFI stacks have always been loose and go click click click. I am now retired and have time to tinker with it myself. Where would be the best source to get a manual on how to rebuild these?
Thanks, Mark |

These parts are precision and not trivial. Unless you have the tools (machine shop) and experience, I would punt to one of the expert vendors that does this kind of work.
You'll need the right bushings, everything has to be lined up just so, etc, etc. If you like to tinker, have at it though. That's the fun of these cars for a lot of people. Me, I'm pretty mechanical, and wouldn't touch the components of the MFI system with a 10 ft pole; but that's just me.

Yeah....your typical machine shop isn't going to be able to do this justice.
Eurometrix.ws is definitely a good call. I've used them in the past. Solid. For the above (and below) engine build, I used Burnham Performance out of Camarillo, CA and they were top notch. You'd talk to Aaron there I believe. They are works of art: ![]() ![]()

+1 for Aaron Burnham
You also can't go wrong with Henry Schmidt at Supertec Performance.
