Another oil question

I have been running Swepco 306 20/50 in my 88.
And I see our host is offering an oil change kit featuring Liqui Moly Classic 20/50
Is Moly synthetic? Following the drain will the mixing of it with the slight amount of Swepco still in the system be a problem?
Thanks in advance

I've said this is another thread. I don't get why people are not running a quality synthetic like Mobile One 15w50 in their air-cooled 911 engines. Mobile One 15w50 is better than ANY conventional oil you could put in your 1988 911.

Thanks Winders
I have read a few threads on synthetic vs conventional oil.
And I have no problem switching to synthetic.
Just wondering if a little mixing on the initial oil change is a problem.

Dan:

To directly answer your questions

1) per https://products.liqui-moly.com/classic-motoroil-sae-20w-50-hd-4.html, Liquidations Moly Classic 20/50 is a "Mildly blended mineral-based motor oil," so no, it is not synthetic.

2) while I would recommend that you either stick with the swepco 306 you're currently using or go with one of the synthetic options referenced above, to answer your second question, no -- having a bit of your old oil mix with this new oil (even if one was synthetic and the other was mineral) would not be a problem. I did something similar when I switched from fully syntetic mobile 1 to partial synthetic Brad Penn a few years ago without issue/problem.

No, it's not a problem.
