Yup it will smoke big time for a while.

Thanks for all your help guys I pulled the injectors and built a little test rig with a spray can and some hose. That well may be why the car was parked 22 years ago, Carerra valve guides are notorious for failing. Run it (hard) for a while and see, but if leaving it parked for a day or so causes a smokescreen it's top-end rebuild time..
