Georgia PCA events

The PCA is kinda quiet. Do they do an annual experience run down to Atlanta? What else do they do? Six weeks and nada. Not a region news letter or even a Pano.

Or even a go back home. WTF?

Wow, in the past Peachstate region was very active. It is a large region. You might send an email the regional president and see what is up.

Not sure what platform you get most of your calendar updates from, but it's been a little active lately. Several pop up concours events (I think the last one was in January), Porsches & Coffee each month (missed one in January), and several events coming up in March (Concours, Rally, wine tour).

https://www.peachstatepca.org/Calendar/2021/2

Their Facebook group is active as well as their monthly email newsletter. I also get a small calendar reminder in the mail once a month.

I'm sure it's not as active as it has been in the past due to COVID-19. Georgia hasn't been faring too well, but they have been doing a lot of communication and at least an event a month.

Yeah, you must not be on the email list. There is a cars and coffee in Buckhead Saturday, a wine tour in March plus a couple of concourse / rallies, and a driving tour that probably goes by your house on the way to the Booth Museum. I need to come take a look at your vinyl sometime.

Didn't notice that you had bailed out of CA and ended up over on this side of the country.

I'm in South Carolina just outside Augusta. Around here it is flat and I think there are only 2 other aircooled cars in town. Only PCA event I've gone to was the Peachstate Porsche corral at Road Atlanta. The local Three Rivers Region PCA seems to be non existent.

I haven't seen an air cooled 911 in months let alone a cabriolet. I'm going to make the C&C this weekend.

Mine was out on the road several times this week. I haven't seen a cab in while either, though.

I probably see 1-2 air-cooled 911s a month around where I live.
