Thanks Canada Kev. I just read last night after posting that I should use new nuts...they are on order! I think that will make 8 orders from our host in 1 month as I keep finding things to fix/replace!

No worries. Seems a shame to have those pretty valve covers there with grungy, old nuts. When you get your VC gaskets, they are available in a package with nuts included, as well.
