Do a search on this one, I am not 100% sure if there is any way to adjust the rear window without removing the entire top.
It sounds to me like it might not have been done properly, or the wrong top was used. Enjoy the cab, I have an 86 as well..... Bill |

Not sure where you are located, but over the Winter (in the Midwest)mine was looking pretty sad. First warm day out in the sun and it tightened right up. Give it a try before you do anything drastic!

It should not be that way, it is due to a bad top install. Very hard to fix though now that it is in.

No glue is used. It's possible to fix correctly but it will be a real bear as you will have to take the whole thing off. Taking the whole top off will do it, and it is not bad, (frame and all) but you just end up in a situation where it's off and you don't have a clue how much to tighten it....anyway for get all that.
You can just do it the easy way to get the wrinkles out of the window. Go to pep boys or whatever and get the rolls of rubber stripping. Gotta be the rubber--stuff that costs like 28 bucks with tape on it. Get in the back seat and notice the rear bar that the top is mounted to above the rear shelf and going round toward the doors. If you put the rubber between that and the top, squeeze it down there really tight, you can remove a lot of those wrinkles. Won't be noticeable. Mine's in fact like that. As you can see my window is not saggy and there is no discernable bulge.
