1984 3.2, actual horsepower when new
I have a 1984 3.2 Targa with the 930-21 engine (sticker say 93021-64E).
I was pretty sure this is a 207hp engine, however, i just saw that the owner manual states: Net-horsepower, SAEJ1349: 200 hp / 149kW at 5900 rpm Anyone know how the 207 hp / 152kW was calculated? |

The 207hp is measured using the DIN standard which is measured at a higher pressure and lower temperature than the SAE standard that gives the slightly lower 200hp reading.

I see, anyone know what the owners manual say for the 930/25 (US 217hp) and the 930/20 (ROW, 231hp) ?
