Early turn signal stalk light issue

I am in the midst of doing a early 911 column conversion on my 914. The issue is that turn signal work fine. I can even pull back on the switch and get the lights to turn on. I have 12volts at the red wire as I should. However I never get power to the yellow or white wires that feed the headlights high and low beams.

So this happens with 2 switches that I bought used. Is there a rebuild procedure? If I ohm it out there is no continuity between the red and the white or yellow leads . Any thoughts?

Are you familiar with the turn stalk issue?

Mine had a similar issue to yours. I ended up cleaning the contacts with qtips and picks and was scraping corrosion off the contacts. Works fine now.
