Attaching the Rubber Insert in the Klein 21
The rubber insert that hold the spark plug inside my factory spark plug tool decided to separate from the metal tool. It does not appear to be damaged. How do I reattach so it does not come off when I install a spark plug.
TIA. ![]()

I used similar rubber hose size wise(you can modify it a little with a grinder on the edges),pushed it in so it is snug and use zep45 lubricant spray in the area where the plug goes....the dry rubber will stay in place..

Here's a basic question. Is there a source for new rubber?

I glued my old rubber back in place with that yellow, 3M rubber weather seal stick-em goo. Seems to work good on rubber to metal.

Thanks smadsen. I will try a smear of the yellow goo.
eastbay, sounds like a good idea to help the plug separate.
