This is the same car that Bill posted, the owner lives here in NC.

This was at RR2, it looks orange but is red.

Here's one for sale if you've got 3 or 400 sitting around

Matt, if you're even remotely considering doing something like this with your car, all I can say is DO IT!! You could show up at Otto's, I hear there will be a sawzall there!

the bumper on the #23 car is a turbo width "934" that we sell and then had it widened by Automotive Innovations- Kevin to work with the similarly modified 934 front eyebrow flares

HA! Its a possiblity...but WAY down the line. I have always loved the 934s but I would have to do it right, which would mean a very serious Turbo (custom air to waters, custom manifold, efi, 3.4L) type set up and lots and lots of $$$$. I could see it as my project when im in my 30s.

A friend’s 934 1/2 and sister car to those pictures posted by Porsche Doc. This one is number 7 of the 10. Never damaged and arguably the best race record of the ten.

Great thread. Are there any fresh pics to add?

While we are at it, does anyone know what size wheels and tires the 934 used?

Also, were the suspension pick up points (control arms, trailing arms, etc) the same as on a 930 and they just used wider wheels and tires to fill the fender flares?

hmmm. I thought I knew quite a bit about the cars from this era - but the 934.5 is new to me (either that or CRS has kicked in again).

It's kinda hard to tell from the pics, but does anyone know if the rear flares are over turbo flares or just SC? The fronts look like regular 934 flares on turbo fenders...

Here it is at the Daytona Finale in 1977 were it finished third , three laps behind the Hagestad 934.5 above... these days they sit next to each other.. I wonder if they talk?
