				2.7L CIS Fuel Distributor Diagram

Hi everyone, So I removed my intake system in order to replace the rubber intake runner boots and once I got everything put back together, the engine runs like it has a misfire. I labelled all of the fuel lines that go from the fuel distributor to the individual fuel injectors but I got the firing order backwards/upside down. Does anyone have a diagram for the fuel lines from the fuel distributor to the fuel injectors at each cylinder? I can't find it anywhere. I guess there's nobody as dumb as me out there!? By the way my car is a 1975 911S. Cheers! Alex

AFAIK the fuel line sequence on the CIS don't matter - CIS=constant injection system. Fuel flows to all the cylinders all the time.

Constant pressure on all as mentioned above. Left side of WUR line to left side of motor, right to right. If they reach you are good.

				Fuel distributor......

Post a picture of the fuel distributor’s fuel lines. The fuel line connections are not totally left to left and right to right arrangement. The control fuel line to the WUR is between cylinder #1 & #2 fuel lines for the original or conventional set up. The exact location is NOT critical. They deliver identical flow rates (theoretically). As Dennis said, if the fuel lines reach the injectors nicely, you will be fine. Tony | ||

The misfire may not be related, and be an ignition issue. Check that your work did not disturb something else, like plug wire connections for example. Make sure your point gap is correct. Why did you replace the rubber? Did you have a vacuum leak? Maybe you have corrected it and you are now running too rich. Or your plugs have been fouled from a too rich setting to compensate for your vac leak. Recheck your new work and make sure everything is tight, with no leaks.
