Question 1995 993 leak down questions and recommended OC shops

I bought a used 1995 993 engine with 110k miles.
I put the motor on an engine stand and did a leak down test with 90psi.
Here is what I am showing:
1. 90/18
2. 90/75
3. 90/86
4. 90/88
5. 90/24
6. 90/88

I tried a compression test and it also showed low compression on the same cylinders with a poor leak down.
On the cylinders in question, I can hear and feel the compressed air coming out of the exhaust valves under the motor.

Questions:
1. Can hydraulic lifters effect the above?
2. Does this motor need a top end overhaul?
3. What shop would you recommend in Southern California to do the top end overhaul?
I live in South Orange County, so local would be preferable, but willing to drive for a better shop.
4. Average cost for a top end overhaul?

Thanks in advance for the help!!
Steve

leakdown again

The motor has sat so my advice is to tap the end of the offending rockers with a plastic head hammer or brass drift at TDC when you recheck it.You will hear a loud pop as the air escapes. If it is the same you probably have some bent valves with those numbers.Exhaust valves chase the piston crown pretty close at 10 degrees ATDC.Usually the air just spits out a piece of carbon and you are fine.Good luck.Fingers crossed for you.Ciao

I also heard this from a known shop with tons of 3.6 experience. I will give this a try when I get a chance.

Thanks everyone for the advice.

I reached out to AASE, they are booked for the next six month and wouldn't even put me on a list. I also reached out to Vision and they said they only do overhauls, not top end rebuilds. My 914 is running awesome with the current Euro 3.2, so I am in no hurry to put the 3.6 in.
