RS Carpet install
Looking for some help from anyone that has installed one of the RS carpet kits from Pelican. I am just about to start my install and trying to identify the location of all the pieces as the kit does not come with any type of instructions and my car did not have the original carpet. I have identified the location for most but these two have me stumped.thanks Mike

take a look at my pictures in this post: https://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-used-parts-sale-wanted/1073641-black-rs-perlon-carpet.html
the pieces are laid out how they go into the car. the top piece looks like the one that fits between the rear seats (on top of the tunnel area) or the rear package shelf depending on the dimensions. not sure about the bottom piece, but based on the shape, I’d guess that it’s one of the side pieces under the rear quarter windows. |

Thanks for the picture LZ , I think by the picture it’s actually the two pieces at the very top of the picture just not sure what the vinyl strips are for.
Thanks Mike |

Also the two pieces in my picture are twins so they may be a right an left at the top of your picture. It would be so much easier if they would include a diagram.

Those pieces are for the driver and passenger map pocket area, to the left of the drivers pedal board and to the right of the passenger pedal board. They are vertical pieces. The vinyl is for the, lower A pillar I guess it's called, that is exposed inside the car.
Watch this video around 9:25. for clarity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EzjuB2UR7y8

Thanks Rxtrom that makes it a lot clearer. At least it shows me that it looks
like there is going to be a lot more work to this install than I figured. |

It is not super complicated but it’s also not a quick task. Just take your time and do a couple pieces at a time. It will start to get easier for you. Make sure you have sharp blades, a nice pair of shears from a hardware store, the glue of course, and patience.
Those pieces are the more complicated ones. |

Thanks, that’s what I thought, I would just take my time it’s not like it all has to be done one one day.
It would be so nice if they would just include a guide of some kind to show we’re all the pieces go and which ones to do first as I’m sure it makes a difference as to what order they should be installed. Thanks Mike |

It's not linked on their site, but here is the official Appbiz installation guide. I found it to be a tremendous help when I installed mine.

I spent the day doing some sorting of the RS Carpet kit I bought from Appbiz 7 years ago. The carpet set looks nothing like the instructions for the side panels and the sides of the seats.I am doing the same head scratching frosty2 is doing.
I figured I'll just bring it to an interior guy and let him deal with it. And the headliner also. Maybe this is why the carpets sat in the garage for 7 years. I did get the door panes in, however.
