AC condenser with 964 spoiler

Has anyone come up with a creative way to use a decklid AC condenser with a 964 retractable spoiler? I really like the look and function of my 964 spoiler, but I can't tolerate heat and humidity. So I'd like to install AC while retaining the 964 spoiler.

Skip the deck lid condenser, and add two to the left rear fenders. I have 4 condensers on my 85, but I had the stock decklid and stock condenser there. I have the full Griffith's AC upgraded system. Call Griffith's and talk to Charlie. He may have something that fits the rear decklid on a 964 as well, but the two fender condensers will help you a ton.

I did reach out to one of the AC companies (can't remember which one) a couple years ago on this, and his solution was to ditch the 964 spoiler, so that ended the discussion. Hopefully there are better alternatives now.

Yes, I saw those fender condensers. I wasn't sure if that was intended only as a supplement to the decklid condenser, or a replacement for it. Since my car is a '72, maybe I could put a fender condenser in each rear fender well? Might be a lot of additional plumbing, but still less than trying to mount one up front.

Griffiths system is great and his brackets are ingenious. One in front of the tire, one behind it. My system is 11 or 12 years old and they made a huge difference. A lot of the heat is dissipated out the fender and not right into the engine. I still have my decklid condenser, as I saw no reason to get rid of it. The oil temps are much lower with that heat going out the fender.
