88 targa footwell blowers won’t stop
Hi there. My heater fans in the dash keep running while the engine is turned off and the key is removed. Tried to remove fuses but it keeps running even with fuses removed. Doing some research someone had a similar issue and fixed it by smacking the relay with the end of a screwdriver…I tried that…and it worked! However, every time I pull the lever for passenger heat the relay sticks and fan won’t shut off. Each time I smack the relay and it releases turning the fan off. I’m trying to find a replacement relay and apparently this one is no longer made?? I assume there is a replacement for it but can’t find any info on it. Anyone have any ideas?
Relay is in the engine compartment #911.618.153 |
