Any Pictures Of Soft Window Targas

Hi Guys,

I am trying to talk a close friend out of buying a custom soft window car to buy an original one, but he has never seen a picture of any nice original ones.

Please either send them to me at marcw@pipeline.com or post them here for all to see. The more the better and interiors of these cars are important as well.

Imagagine spending 20k for a chopped up car as opposed to that same money give or take a little for a perfect original car that has true value.

Thanks for the help and pictures.

marc

Wow, that black car is amazing. I love my targa, but the look of the soft window with the back window down is fantastic.

yeah if there is an original soft rear...go for the real one...will hold value better then a custom...

that being said I am building a custom...

I am using an OEM soft widow assay

and the only difference is 3 metal tabs/brackets welded to the rear deck

advantages...well mine will be a LWB...there are some long-wheeled soft rears...but they are very rare

Plus my car is gonna be a mild r-gruppe car so I won't be molesting a rare soft rear window to build "my" ideal targa

Okay...these aren't very good.
They are from last year's Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix car show.
Does anyone know who the owner is?
It's modded in an RGruppe kinda way...

There is some lettering running up the side of the hood, and the targa bar has been painted....
