Third brake light in ducktail, anyone?
Just about got my fiberglass duck tail fitted nicely. It fit differently from one car to another…so I had to modify and patch multiple times!
I was thinking of slotting the tail and glassing in a third brake light. Anyone do this before? Any pics or recommendations on which light? I’ve seen lights with integrated turn signals and even reverse lights. Some have mixed reviews with LEDs going out. I sure don’t want to glass in a light or even the mount but then to have customized and painted for a bad product! Thanks! |

Not on a duck, but I’m installing one of these on the lip of a motorized 964 tail. Low profile, adhesive, and packed tight with leds. Highly recommend. These were the only strips I could find with a high density of leds and look very close to a single bulb, as opposed to individual pinpoints of light. It blends in well with the taillights but it is bright. I’m going to have to step down the voltage a bit to match the intensity to the left/right brake lights.

I have a pair of the plasma rods. They are awesome but I could not fit them in the rear window vent. Anyone want to buy them?
