Factory Battery Tie Down '74 911

I'm getting my car ready for a Hill Climb and the rules say I need to have my battery tied down. I've owned my car for almost 30 years and it's never had anything holding the battery. Is there something from the factory that it should have came with? If there was no factory tie down......any other ideas I can borrow?

Man, I need to clean up my battery area.

Yes. I believe I can see towards the rear of the car in your photo the area where the bottom of the battery slips into for retention.

Towards the front of the photo the area where the tie down screws into. I’ve seen photos of the factory tie down on PP. I’ll do a quick search.

I appears your battery is smaller than the original, factory installed one.

EDIT: There are a few photos of factory tie downs in this thread.

A hole for the battery hold down clamp for the optional "big battery" is visible, although it looks a bit rusted up. You might be able to drill it out & re-thread the next size larger with a bottom tap. I'm sure the hole for the "original" size battery is there also. The battery hold down clamping piece is available from our host.
