84-89 911 a/c fan resistor ?

Hi
My ADD is raging with so much going on, so taking the lazy way out and posting my question

The a/c blower speed fan resistor is no longer available from Porsche. And the client is not interested ($300!) in the Griffiths variable speed solution.
Anyone know a source for a replacement ? The housing is in good shape

Thanks in advance
Dave

Your customer would love the variable speed Griffith’s unit. To have any speed at all I’d a great upgrade from, (is it on) low, I think it is blowing (medium) to full noise making max.

If you want, I could measure the resistance values of the two resistors for step 1 and 2 and you could just use new resistors (the real unit is somewhat more complex I believe as it has a bimetallic override.
