suspension clunking sound fixed

FYI, y'all..

I just want to share a quick fix, searchable on the words knocking, clunking, suspension, Carrera 3.2.

Ever since I rebuilt & reinstalled my engine, my car has made clunking sounds that were apparent at low speed when encountering little bumps in the pavement.. basically, whenever the rear suspension moved at all, I got a little clunk or knock sound. The sound seemed to come from either side of the car.

I thought it might be my CV joints. So I replaced those/rebuilt my axles. No change.

This weekend I tightened my rear sway bar fasteners and parking brake cables. The sound went away! So I can't say for sure which of those two it was, but I'm pretty sure it was the sway bar.

Cheers,
