I had my injectors professionally cleaned report attached

Hello everyone!
I had my injectors serviced by rc injector in Torrence California, their customer service was outstanding and lightning quick turnaround! I highly recommend them. My injectors were returned to me all clean and painted with new o rings they look great . The service included a print out report of before and after testing. I’m not 100% sure how to read the report but it looks like my injectors were in pretty bad shape several leaking and low volume?

The injectors are from. 3.6 motor with 60k miles and I have tried used liquid molly jectron prior to sending them out and I thought it really helped but the next tank full seemed to run the same maybe the placebo effect.

I have not reinstalled them yet wanted some feedback from this report.

Looks good to me, did some 9 volt battery and carburetor spray low-budget cleaning for my injectors. Guess i should turn to professionals also.

Thanks Definitely seems worth it I will report back after a test drive.

The pre cleaning test the report says I was only getting half or a little more of fuel I should have been, referencing the cc per min(am I reading that correctly)? Seems really low wouldn’t that cause a lean condition.

Just had a set flow tested and cleaned by RC Injection this week as well. Great service, quick turnaround.

I installed them today and the car really runs well , gained a lot of top end hp and quicker acceleration. I’m very pleased with RC’s work and 24hr turn around super fast work!

Hey 911, did you have any issues with removal, i.e. breakage, connector damage etc? Just wondering how the R&R went.

I am suspicious of the report.
If the initial flow rates are supposed to relate to actual flow while the engine is running the engine should barely run if at all.
All the info. or estimates of HP/etc. I think is a bunch of non-sense.
The final flow numbers seem very close together especially compared to the initial readings.
The pressure tested is not indicated on the report.
I'm not saying that the injectors are not now operating better than before just that the report lacks credibility in my view.
I'm thinking the report is supposed to make the customer feel like they got their money's worth.
E.g. look how bad it was and now look how good it is.

Had my injectors from my 87 Carrera cleaned by RC also in June and am pleased with the results. The car has 149k miles and to the best of my knowledge the injectors have never been touched. My seat of the pants dyno shows better top end power but the most telling improvement is my gas mileage has increased an average of 2.5 mpg and I suspect the improved flow pattern was the reason for that.

Yup,

I was wondering about the report too.

Seems like an add on "As seen on TV" or the oxyclean stuff.

Is it snake oil ???.

Only way to know is with dyno at home before and after

No. RC Injection does good work. Cleaning your injectors at home is the snake oil.

Over time, injectors need more than Techron to work as they should.
