Speedometer Removal

Hi everyone,
My odometer stopped working and I'm trying to remove the speedo from the dash. There are three wires that go into the back of the gauge that I can't figure out how to disconnect. The other wires have the normal pull-off connectors on them, but these three are stumping me. Any suggestions?

those are light bulb sockets. you can pry them up with a knife edge. don't pull the wires.

Patience in removing those is what saved me. Just slowly backing it out of the housing kept the harness from pulling out of the light socket. I also used a small piece of tape on each wire and numbered them. After the speedo was repaired and ready to go back in, I knew where to put the wires back to where they were disconnected.

If I understand this correctly you have to pry the metal ring off the back of the speedometer, you don’t pull the red plastic pieces ?
Another question, what bulbs go in the speedometer? (1988 911 Cab)
TY in advance

Correct pry the metal part up. The plastic part will come out with it.
