Melted AC Relay plug in Smuggler"s Box
The plastic housing of the electrical plug that connects to the main AC relay in the smuggler's box has melted and peeled back uncovering some of the contacts. My AC just recently stopped working. I could hear and feel the condenser and blower fans running until I actually started the car. Then all the fans would stop and of course no cold air and the compressor clutch would not engage. The fuse in the relay does not appear to be burnt. The melted plug bothers me so what sort of higher temp plug can I use to replace the melted one?

That socket shouldn't get all that hot unless something is seriously wrong, just replace with the same. Did the fuse blow? Should be a 25 amp in position in position 20.
