Can’t decide on Roll Bar color

I’ve been sitting on this roll bar from TRE for a long time now and it’s finally time to get it powder coated. Only problem is, I keep changing my mind on the color.

Do I play it safe and just go satin black? To I try and blend it in to the body with a white? Or do I go bold with a Mexico Blue or Gold/Bronze?

Give me those opinions!

Interior is going to be finished in the original cork, but I have an oatmeal squareweave carpet kit going in which will be lighter than original. Seats are a black Sparco QRTs, but will eventually get refinished in cork.

It's your car, pick what you like.

Black hides chips and scratches better over time.

Satin Black I feel it will contrast nicely with the cork and the white

Just my .02¢

Really the question is whether to make it disappear or showcase it and that's a matter of preference, what your interior is going to look like, and how flashy you want to be.

To showcase it I'd go leather wrapped in the same color as the seats which I presume to be cork. Maybe with contrast stitching in black.

To hide is, satin black or whatever trim your windows will have.

Hard to beat satin black.

Roll bars that are painted in different colors are trying "too hard" to me. JMHO

I appreciate the opinions. I am leaning towards the satin black, then if I want more I like the idea of wrapping it in leather.

The really bold color is something I would love for a week. I had a momo Mod7 wheel with the yellow center indicator and replaced it with a full black one because I thought the little yellow strip was going to be too much.

I ended up wrapping mine in alcantara with a diamond stitch. Came out very nice. Left parts of the roll bar exposed.

Cover with camo tape. That'll make 'em disappear.
