Early 911 seat-belts, where to place when car is not in use?
When I am not operating/driving the car (parked), with no retractable seat-belts, is there a convenient place to put the seat-belts?

On my Euro 72E LHD with static belts there is a small plastic clip on the shoulder mount which holds the buckle.
A little fiddly to hook it up but keeps the belt out of the way when not in use. NO pics at the moment but I'll try to get some this week-end. |

I have the hooks on my 70 Targa as well...however mine are rolled up in a bag behind the seats. I hate those damn things. I have looked into retracts from the same guys who make seat adapters and they look pretty good. n a Targa the reels are even hidden behind the side rear panels. However they are pricey...$150.00 a side.

Cool! So that is what those things are for. To be honest, I just lay my belts down neatly on the door sill next to the seat when they're not in use. 1st rule of riding in any of my cars is that everyone always wears a seatbelt.
