Does Performance Parts ever have sales?

I need to get a part which Pelican does not carry. I could swear someone here mentioned that PP had a sale once or twice a year or discount coupons or something. Any idea?

Performance have a "Save 20% Sale" on till May 21. Pelican's prices are usually still better and the service is still the best. Try Pelican first as EMCON5 suggests.

Unless it is an aftermarket part Wayne does not carry, he can get anything. I believe, as he has gotten me more items that he did not show than those he did.

Some of the parts Wayne sells, like the Spring Plate bushings, are Performance parts. It's funny to get a Perf. Prod. product from one of their competitors for a cheaper price than they list it for on their site (make sense??).

Pelicans regular prices are better than Performance Parts prices with the 20% discount, on most items.

when you call to place your order tell them you are gonna wait till they have a sale and the guy on the order desk will usually just go ahead and give you the discount. If not hang up and call and ask for Raul on the counter. He has the power to discount and is a great guy. P.S. I make the door panels and carpet sets they sell

Coming from a Performance Products customer, CALL PELICANPARTS. The only reason I buy stuff from PP is because I have to take my sister to dance class once a week around the corner from PP and if I need a part I pick it up in person. Their mail-order service has been mediocre at best over the past few years and the only way I'd buy anything from them is if I walk in there, pay for it and walk out with the product in my hand.

We do carry anything and everything that they sell, at prices that are typically less than even their sale prices. Give the guys a call at 1-888-280-7799 and they can help you out.

We do use Performance Products as a wholesale supplier. Even if we don't make any money on that particular part, we want to keep our customers close to home.

Plus, it has been our goal from day one to supply you guys with EVERYTHING that you need for your car. If we don't carry, then I want to find out what it is, and how we can carry it. I want everyone to think of Pelican as carrying EVERYTHING! We've worked very hard to put tons and tons of stuff into our catalog (some stuff that no one would ever buy either - like a new Targa top) just so you guys don't have to look elsewhere.

It's a core part of our business strategy, and the execellent "customer experience" goes hand-in-hand with "excellent customer service."

Just wait until you see what I'm working on now! (911 Brake Wizard and 911 Suspension Wizard)

I'd love to purchase this particular part from Pelican...I want to support Wayne and partner(s) where ever I can. In this case Pelican couldn't get the part I needed. It's actually a Mercedes OEM front spoiler. Performance was the only vendor I was aware of that could get the part other than the local stealer. At least we gave it a shot.

BTW, what is the Pelican Parts approach to competition? Will you match prices, beat prices or pretty much what you see is what it costs...just curious.

Since you can't get the part you need from Pelican, I have a suggestion for you that will help you lower the cost of the part from Performance Products.

Performance Products participates with ebates.com. Ebates pay you a cash rebate every 90 days for online purchases initiated through their site. The rebate on purchases from Performance Products is 7%. There are also a lot of other online vendors that participate. I think Tirerack is 4%.

It doesn't cost you anything to sign up or use the service. And, 7% is 7%.
