"While You're In there" During SSI Installation

Hello,

Going to have a local shop install new SSI heat exchangers and Dansk sport muffler on my 911SC. Car is low mileage and in very good mechanical shape. Has a lot of recent service by previous owner over the last year and 1000 miles. It is not leaking any oil.

Question - are there any obvious things to do or for the shop to look at while they have the heat exchangers off that you can recommend "While you're in there". I was reading that one would be to replace the O2 sensor.

Thanks
Gavin

Before you bring it down, spray the living heck out of each stud/nut with Kroil or whatever you have in your arenol. It was such a pain as I had to Dremel a few nuts off, so I didnt want to do anything else except get it over with.

Once the exhaust is off, check for leaks in any of the oil return tubes and replace any that are leaking.

My smog pump was already removed, but there was still plumbing running to the underside of the heads. Remove and plug the holes.

Also, even though my pump was already deleted, the left timing chain cover still had one of the longer studs holding the cover on. Now's a good time to clean that up?

Takes a different oil line and what's the plan for the heat hoses? Got the new side tin and outlets either side of the fan?
