3.2 Club sport engine "SP" marking on Case and Heads
Hello,
I recently bought a project where i removed the 3.2 engine that i want to build down the road. It turns out that the DME that I removed from that car was from a Club Sport with the higher rev limiter etc. I highly doubt that the engine is from a club sport also but of course want to confirm. I read that they have hollow intake valves and are stamped with "SP" on the heads and crankcase. Does anybody konw where these stamps are exactly? Also if anybody is looking for a red sticker club sport DME let me konw, i am willing to sell it. |

Thank you very much Bill, that is what i was looking for. Any idea where the crank case marking would be found?
@tdw28210 I saw Steve's analysis when doing some research. The only reason this DME would be of interest to someone is if you own a CS without a CS DME. I just wanted to offer it in case someone is looking. |
