check, measure adjust question

I was reading through the check measure adjust manual and there is a note in it about if you run a 72 or 73 engine on gas that is "98 octane" then you will have a high CO content. I currently run premium(93) in my 73T. When I go to do check measure adjust will this throw off the readings?

Yes it will. The ultra-low compression of your engine makes premium fuel unnecessary. Like it states, higher octane fuel is harder to ignite in a low compression engine. Your car will actually run better on regular.

Tim, we run only regular in Lu's 73E. Like Tyson says, premium fuel is unnecessary...even after you upgrade your 73T to 2.7RS specs. ;) :D

hehe but what about a 2.7 RS with a 9.8:1 C/R :D

Thanks for the reply guys!
