Is "email notification" working on the BBS?
 

Is "email notification" working for you guys? I'm not getting any of those "so-and-so replied to your msg." msgs from the server. :confused:

Hey - are any of you guys getting email at all? I just sent myself a test email from another account I had, and it hasn't come through.

No Pelican e-mail, but the SPAM pipeline is flowing without restriction. ;)

Ahh, one of my servers (that I recently replaced) is down. I knew this today, but I didn't think much of it. It's being used as a DNS server for this machine, so it has queued all the email!

I just released the queue, you should be getting email now?

i get "so 'n so at pelican tried to e/mail you, but your mailbox at pelican is full". but there's like one message in it.

Check the cache of "sent messages".....mine was full and I got that message, while my rec'd cache was empty.

Is the mail working now ?

ok, i found the tracking list of answered messages and deleted it. wayne told me to do that, but i didn't know about the tracking list.

I'm confused - I'm still not getting mail on subscribed threads. Is everyone else?

I've been getting them and I'm tired of them!

I'm new to the forum (last week) and have received those e-mail notifications religiously since my first post. In fact I just went into my profile and disabled the notifications to ease the burden on my poor overloaded outlook express.
