battery mounting / hold down strap
The stock battery hold down strap in my race car has seen much better days (I think it has been rebrazed at least 2 or 3 times).
Can anyone who has has built a better mousetrap in this regard post some details/pics? Thanks - Ryan ps: the tub is a 1970 911T, only running a single battery. |

My battery clamp was totally missing when I got the car. I had a sheet metal buddy make this for me:
It is basically a "Z" shaped piece of metal for the top section. A bolt and nut to connect it to a "L" bracket at the bottom. I used some existing bolt holes to hold each part in position.
