M&K Active exhaust review

Hey everyone .. new to the 911 game .. and thought I would post a quick review of my first mod to the car. I went ahead and purchased and installed the M&K Active exhaust. After a bunch of research it was the setup that appealed to me the most .. stealth sound when required .. but at WOT all hell breaks loose.

Exceptional service from Brian at M&K .. who patiently answered all my questions and when I finally decided was quick to get the exhaust to me.

Install went smoothly .. as predicted the o2 sensor was the biggest challenge. Fitment and build quality was top notch .. and the end product delivered in spades. Such a nice sound.

Butt dyno tells me the car is more responsive and quicker ..

highly recommended.

Still loving mine -- recently passed Colorado smog (visual and rolling tests) on my 48 state cat version with flying colors. Love the growl it makes when I give my car "the beans"

Glad you like it!
The tailpipe baffle is part of the design. The size of the hole was decreased to the point where the engine started losing power (on the dyno) then backed off to where full power again registered. This gives optimal power at the least loud level, which is still Sport loud. If you remove the baffle the sound level will be very loud. The baffle is pressed in so will not be easy to remove. A set screw is used as a redundancy in case the heat and exhaust pressure of a hot muffler at full throttle might blow it out.
