thanks Jamie....it took a little R&D time/debugging, but Rama at RHD was great to work with and committed to getting it right......i like the way they turned out. .........i supply quite a few kits using PMO and other ITBs....but these RHDs are a great price/performance kit and are now starting to get the attention they deserve........
regards, al

What are the pros and cons vs. PMO's offerings? It sounds like price is a big one, but what other compromises, if any, are you making when choosing RHD over PMO?

@LuftKul, there are so many units out there and yet very little data to compare and contrast!

How do the ITB's when the car is RHD or LHD? Linkage?

LuftKul and Carbster,
I agree.....this is kind of what I do and there is not a lot of direct comparisons between the units...... I have installed, tuned and tested a few.....and the difference in performance going to EFI/ITBs from carbs and CIS/Motronic systems has been pretty great. However, the differences between the ITBs has not been enough to prompt me to say.....this design is clearly superior in all ways over the other. I'm always evaluating them regarding price/performance and, based on the traditional shaft/butterfly design...I am finding the performance aspect is uniformly good. That being said...there are some new designs, like the shaft-less designs from ATPower and the new roller-barrel designs that I am looking forward to adding to my website. They are showing performance improvements, but at a price......it really comes down to what your goal is for your engine and where your design and budget aligns with the price/performance curve...........that's just me...i could be wrong. regards, al
