SC intakes 80 - 83 same?

Are all the intakes from 1980 to 1983 the same? Can I swap a 81 or 82 intake onto an 83 engine or an 80 and everything will be fine? Do they all use the same moronic, WUR, Fuel distribution? Thanks all.

The intake runners are the same, and the same as 74 to 77
The 81 to 83 fuel dist are the same, the 80 FD still had plastic fuel lines and more info wires on the lambda harness for 81/83

Plus, differences between 930/16 (US with Lambda) and 930/10 ROW engines.
Not interchangeable.

Systems don't mix and match well but you can transfer entire systems from one engine to the other. If doing that I would go with the larger port 78/9 CIS system.

Is this because the simplicity of the 78/79 system - meaning no Lambda?

This engine will be going into a 914 with no need for emissions so if I can go with a more simple system then I will.

Does it matter whether it is a Euro or US 78/9 CIS? They look to be the same, at least FD.

If using 78/79 large port runners, you’ll want the large port heads.
Same as the ROW from 78-83 for runner size , port size and no Lambda.

'83 intake runners are narrower than '78. I do not know when they made the change.

'78/9 CIS is same US and Euro. No Lambda and larger ID runners.

as he said the 930-10 '83 SC Euro/ROW had the large runners and no lambda....fuel enrichment AFR on the Euro's controlled by the WUR.
