Idle Control Valve

Hello 911 friends my recently acquired 911 with 3.2L euro engine was having some idlng issues. Cold start no problem but after stopping somewhere for few minutes and restarting the engine, the idle would get very erratic and would stall. After reading forum I cleaned the idle control valve and problem is 90% fixed no more idle hunting or stalling. I order a new idle control valve but they seem to be discontinued, does anyone here have a part number that would work? I’m affraid the valve will seize on me and would rather replace it now. Thank you all in advance. The current part number to be replaced is Bosch 0 280 140 501

I just went through this. The commutator was worn on the original ICV so it was bad. Ordered the cheap Chinese eBay one and it was bad out of the box. Ended up getting a couple used ones. One here: https://fuelinjectionproducts.com/products/porsche-idle-air-control-valve-bosch-0280140514-fits-911-944 and the other one here

Also just went through this. Got one from maf-shop.com ( https://maf-shop.com/shop/iac/porsche-iac/porsche-911-idle-control-valve-1984-1994-porsche-oe-0280140501-also-fit-924-944/ ). Manufacturer looked to be Lowe Automotive. Never heard of them before, and have only put about 100 miles on it so the jury is still out on how long it will last, but so good so far. They shipped the next weekday, and it took about 4 days to clear customs, so all of 10 days end-to-end. - Chris
