Classic Retrofit dash light switch
I wasn't entirely happy with the look of the original push button that came with the kit, I find it a bit too modern for such an old car, so I thought I might can use the fog light switch I removed last year (together with the fog lights). According to Jonny the Classic Retrofit AC will work with such a switch.
This was my first version: ![]() I thought the whole logo would be better: ![]() And I am thinking about changing the other dash knobs too: ![]() What do you think?

Looks great!
My understanding is that the classic retrofit AC use the fan speed control on the HVAC panel, the temperature is set by blue tooth and the switch simply turns the AC on and off? If so it would interesting to see a solution similar to the OEM temp control that combines the AC state and temp control. |

Uncertifiable!!!

Now, that is cool! If you are thinking of producing some for resale, I’m in for a set for my new project.
Cheers, Johan

Slight tangent, but...
I've deleted my foglights and I'm repurposing my fog light switch to operate the oil cooler fan. I'd like a fan icon insert for the switch. If you're willing to manufacture inserts, I'd purchase one or two from you. To your original question, isn't the writing (vs. just an AC snowflake ❄️ icon) in and of itself too modern / incongruous with the rest of the dashboard?

Those inserts look great, would you mind sharing the CAD file for them?

alternativ version as suggested:
Snowflake Icon (top left is original size - a bit too small for my taste, therefore some more variants) ![]() Fan Icon (left is original size) ![]()

I replaced the original (ER) push button switch that came with the kit, with the fog light switch of the car (as I didn't use it for its original purpose anymore). Basically you can choose any switch you want.
Note: If you do so you have to change the BUT setting to "LAT" (for latching) at the ECU of the Electro Cooler. For all interested in this cover, I made some extra ones and offer it for sale at the classifieds
