Headlight AWG wiring gauge
Hello
Trying to fix my headlight wiring. I´m a little lost with the AWG gauge system. Do you know the wire gauge of the factory wiring between the fuse box and the headlight housings. Thanks Miguel 911 Carrera 1985 |

Common guys. I know it´s a silly question but I´m about to order some wiring connectors and its especifications are in AWG. I´m from Spain (Europe).
Thanks |

16 AWG is very close. 18 is smaller, 14 is larger.

The manual calls out 1.5 square mm as standard. If you have to buy AWG, Dennis is correct. 15 AWG would be almost exact, but is basically not available. I always use one size larger, just because I can.
16 AWG will work fine. If you are in Europe, look for everything at 1.5 square mm. Cheers, -Dave

All the wiring and sizing you need on the original wiring diagram.
In mm2 (not AWG) http://www.911c1.de/porsche/Schaltplaene/plaene1-10_carrera_32.pdf Regards, Frank
